Scripture speaks of various principles for giving. Proverbs reminds us to be generous (Proverbs 3:9-10; 22:9). In the Acts Church, all shared everything in common (Acts 4:32-35). The Church was known as a place of generosity. Jesus taught that the blessed of the Father will have taken action (Matthew 25:34-40). Acts 20:35 quotes the Lord Jesus saying: "It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

All gifts to HCS are tax deductible. If you are giving appreciated stocks, property, or other items to HCS, we encourage you to consult with your tax advisor for valuation purposes. HCS is not allowed to place a value on these items.

Matching Gifts: Many employers sponsor matching gift programs that supplement their employees' charitable donations. Your company may match, double, or even triple your initial gift. In-Kind Donations: Are gifts of property that are voluntarily transferred by a donor to HCS without compensation. These gifts may include equipment, vehicles, materials, supplies, artwork, and other personal property a donor might give to HCS for use in its educational programs.
